Both women and men have equally wanted to have a well toned body since long. Many different ways have been tried traditionally to burn the extra fat that makes us look flabby. This included eating less or skipping meals and rigorous exercising. But now the market offers many different fat burning pills that claim to burn fat fast. Most people want to lose fat to lead a healthy life. In most of the cases this reason is to mask the obsession of having a great looking sexy body. Many fat burning pills have successfully given the people desired results but many are nothing more than false claims. Many people have a common question- whether these fat burning pills actually work?

It is a proven fact that eating a balanced healthy diet and following a regular exercise regime is what is touted as the best and safest way to enjoy a slim and healthy life style. But this is also true that it is difficult for many to follow this type of routine and thus take shortcuts in achieving their goal. Fat burning pills are no miracle pills. They are chemically designed medicines that help in burning fat. But like all medications, they too have some mild or extreme side effects related to their use. Instead of using something that doesn?t work or is unsafe you must first understand the working of these pills.

There are three ways in which any fat burning pill works. The pills help in the release of fats from the fat cells, from where it enters the bloodstream. In the bloodstream they are converted to free fatty acids. These are then taken up by the muscle cells where they are burned. A second way involves the suppression of appetite and is a complex process that needs stimulation b hormones and various neurotransmitters. The last and the third way are also called blocking the fat. These fat blocker pills prevents the body from absorbing fat during digestion. Some of the side effects associated with such pills include stomach-ache, dry mouth, nausea, diarrhea and inability to absorb some of the important fat soluble vitamins and nutrients. They must be avoided along with some other medications.

Although such fat burning pills do help in fat burning process to certain extent, you must still combine them with a healthy diet and a good exercise plan. Before starting the use of such pills you must evaluate your physical conditions to avoid any harmful side effects.
