In the Middle verse in chapter (48) of the Old Testament, Jacob said unto Joseph that he thought he would not see his face.In the Middle verse in chapter (48) of the New Testament, the people confidence was that Jesus is Joseph's son. In the Middle verse in chapter (48) of the Noble Quran, to Allah belongs the kingdom of everything; Allah forgives whoever deserves to be forgiven and He punishes whoever deserves to be punished. Allah is oft-Forgiving, most Merciful. =========    Old Testament:  Chapter 48 in the Old Testament is Genesis (48); it is composed of 22 verses.T he Middle verse is that number 11  It says:  Genesis 48: 11 (King James Version)  11) "And Israel said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, God hath shewed me also thy seed.."  This verse states that Israel (Jacob) said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, God has showed me also your seed.. =========   New Testament: Chapter 48 in the New Testament is Luke 4; it is composed of 44 verses. The middle verse is that number 22  It says:  Luke 2: 22 (King James Version) 22) And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son? This verse says that all bare him (Jesus) witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?  This indicates that the people confidence was that Jesus is Joseph's son. =========   The Noble Quran:  Chapter 48 in the Noble Quran is Chapter 48: AL-FATH (VICTORY); it is composed of 29 verses.  The Middle verse is that number 14  It says:  AL-FATH 48:14  QARIB: to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. he forgives whom he will and punishes whom he will. Allah is forgiving and merciful. SHAKIR: and Allah's is the kingdom. of the heavens and the earth; he forgives whom he pleases and punishes whom he pleases, and Allah is forgiving, merciful PICKTHAL: and Allah's is the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. he forgiveth whom he will, and punisheth whom he will. and Allah is ever forgiving, merciful.  YUSUFALI: to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: he forgives whom he wills, and he punishes whom he wills: but Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful.

The meaning of the verse:

And to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that are between the heavens and the earth, in other words, to Allah belongs the kingdom of everything. Allah forgives whomever He will and chastises whomever He will;He forgives whom He will of the believers for committing enormities, out of favor, and He punishes whom He will for committing minor sins, in justice; it is also said that this means: He honors whom He will with faith and repentance such that He forgives him and makes die whom He will in a state of disbelief and hypocrisy and then punishes him for it; and it is also said that this means: He forgives whoever deserves to be forgiven and punishes whoever deserves to be punished.Allah is ever Forgiving, He always forgives whoever repents of enormous and minor sins. Allah is ever Merciful towards whoever dies repentant, that is to say, He is ever possessed of the attributes mentioned. =========   Back to the main issue of my series of articles; this is my question to you smart readers: "Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?", and what book is talking about the Day of Judgment and the Eternal Hell?
