Briefcases accessories that help complete your professional appearance while working, traveling and commuting. Briefcases are bags used for moving and storing papers, notes and laptops among other personal accessories. Leather briefcases often have between one to four individual dividers (gussets) and other compartments (often zippered or buckled) for organizing your cell phone, PDA, laptops, pens or pencils and other business items. Womans briefcases are also offered in various styles which also include storage for personal items typically carried only by women; although the content of women's briefcases will often be 90% identical to that of a man. The briefcases we offer are designed with sturdy carrying handles and removable shoulder straps made with fine leather. We offer many different styles of briefcases for various professions including attorneys, medical practitioners, salespeople, accounts and many other professions.
While we do offer many unique, modern styled briefcases, the most popular models tend to be the 'traditional' briefcases made from full-grain leather, top-grain leather and Italian vegetable dyed leather. We specialize in the traditional top frame briefcases (classic briefbag) style which is a great choice for carrying papers to and from the office we were the first company to introduce a shoulder strap on this traditional style.
If you are looking for appropriate briefcases you first need to consider your desired style. There exist four types of briefcases to select. The name of each style is self explanatory: Flap over briefcases offer a full flap over; top-zip briefcases open from the top and can stay open, top-frame cases stay open with a wide opening, and traditional attaches are ridgid and increase in size until they become termed 'litigation cases' or 'trial bags'.
The leather on your leather briefcases is vitally important. Try to avoid bonded leather and other cheap materials. Make sure you insist on briefcases crafted with full grain or top grain leather many of which include suede lining. Best of all, look for American, Italian or Argentina leather which are the thickest most durable hides offered today.
Finally, make sure to look at the hardware which is often overlooked. Look at the stress points which are the points which bear the weight of the load as you carry the briefcases. Is the hardware durable, is it going to support the load well or is the hardware going to crack under the pressure of repeated carrying. The hardware should be at leasat somewhat decorative, but most importantly it should be durable, look for 'Amiet' hardware to ensure that you're getting the best. Make sure to look at the carry handle to see if that will hold up when the briefcase is filled. This is an important stress point. Finally, check out the stress point where the shoulder strap attaches to the case, make sure that the hooks the briefcase latches onto are going to hold. Last but not least, check out the bottom of the case to make sure that the weight in the briefcase will not cause the briefcase to bend over time.
