FreeMovieReport: A Somewhat Fictional Account of an Academy Award Year for Britney Spears!

While the academy awards are taking shape at years end, a name that should be in the running is Britney Spears as she has had some of the most challenging roles of her career, that brought her into the spotlight on more than one occasion.

In her dramatic role as thoughtful mother in Easy Driver, we find Britney cruising on the highway holding infant in lap, without seat belt protection. She gets pulled over by a cop played by George Clooney who simply asks her, "What the %&$# were you thinking?". The memorable scene ends with Clooney leaving the driver without a ticket, as Britney cleverly allows a titillating and provocative glimpse for the officer.

Her second release of the year was Britney Spears playing an expectant mother all the while plotting the demise and discarding of her husband, played by Hollywood all star Mark Wahlberg. The drama, (but sometimes unintentional comedy) called If Baby's Could Bad Talk Their Parents, Britney's character secretly has an affair with a trailer park style character played by Steve Buscemi, whom she enlists to help her dispose of her almost successful husband. In an inexplicable twist, both men end up dumping her before she gets to pulls the trigger.

In Britney's 3rd production of what must have been a very busy year, Girl's Night Out of Control she stars alongside Gwyneth Paltrow as the events of a single night of partying expose the true dark side of Britney's character. This was probably her most interesting work for the year as there were some intense filming demands which required nudity. Surprisingly, Britney exhibited an ease with the situation and seemed not too concerned about exposing herself. In between takes, it was reported, Britney refused to change from her wardrobe of a single garment of a short miniskirt, to the delight of the crew.

Wherever Britney Spears goes now, photographers like to follow her in anticipation of capturing the starlet in her proud glory years. Good luck at the 2007 Academy Awards Britney!
