Why Not All Anti Aging Skin Care Products Are Equal

There are more anti aging skin care products on the market today than ever before.

The baby boomers might be to blame for the increase in popularity of anti-aging skin cream and similar products, but no one really wants to look older.

Our parents thought of wrinkles as a fact of life, but look around.

Not everyone wears their age on their face.

Some of them may have followed anti aging skin care regimens throughout their lives.

Others may have invested in cosmetic surgery, botox or laser treatments.

But, you may be able to avoid all of those things and still look young.

The latest research suggests that natural antiaging skin cream is the best way to go.

The best products do not contain fragrances and chemical additives, but are derived or extracted from plants and other things that occur naturally in the environment.

You may have read that loss of collagen and elastin, as well as decreasing levels of hyaluronic acid contributes to wrinkles, age spots, sagging and other similar issues.

There are anti aging skin care products on the market that contain those things.

There are even some oral supplements that claim to counter what we lose as we get older.

The problem is that rubbing any of the three substances on your face or hands will not make a difference, neither will taking a pill.

You have to do something to prevent their loss, not try to replace it.

A new antiaging skin cream is designed to do just that.

You may think of nourishment as food, but your skin cells need nourishing, too.

New research has shown that certain proteins support and increase your body's ability to produce collagen and elastin, throughout your life.

Anti aging skin care products that contain this protein reduce wrinkles, redness and lines, while improving firmness and elasticity.

You will not find the protein in major brands.

The patent belongs to a New Zealand company that named the protein Functional Keratin.

They call it functional, because it is "readily available to the skin".

The ingredients found in antiaging skin cream may not be available for use by the skin.

It is all very complex and has to do with the hydroxylation process use by most manufacturers.

The process renders the keratin useless when applied topically.

The unique patented process used to create Functional Keratin, on the other hand, ensures that the protein can be used by the skin to grow new collagen fibers and repair skin cell damage.

Most anti aging skin care products simply do not work as they should.

No matter what they cost.

Sometimes, ingredients cause temporary inflammation that makes your face look better, temporarily.

Botox, for example, causes inflammation because it is a poison.

Personally, I think the idea of nourishing your face and hands with an antiaging skin cream makes more sense than using a poison to cause swelling.

There is no doubt that the anti aging skin care market will continue to grow.

Hopefully, research and development will continue to make the products safer and more effective.
