Nokia's N series mobile phones are known for their impeccable multimedia functions and high end connectivity tools. Though all of the previous N series models were masters in functionality, seldom any serious attention given to their style quotient. Things have suddenly started to change as the 'geeky' N series mobile phones are all set to change their common perception as bulky smartphones. Their latest member - the Nokia N76 manages to sport a chic slim dimension while maintaining the level of mobile multimedia services expected of a N series smartphone.

The Nokia N76 is mere 13.7 mm and weighs just 115 grams - very light for a 3G smartphone. Currently, two colour variant of the Nokia N76 is available - red and black, though other colour solution can not be denied. The handset looks much like a RAZR phone since both are slim clamshell, however, the Nokia N76 has an upper hand over any of RAZR phone in terms of its features. The handset's built quality could be accessed by the displays on use - a 1.3 inch, 262k coloured TFT screen and a 16.7 million coloured QVGA TFT based primary display.

Quite naturally, the Nokia N76 is fitted with one of the best 2.0 megapixel camera module laced with Carl Zeiss Optics Tesser lens. Apart from it, the Nokia N76 also features a secondary VGA camera incorporated for the purpose of video calling. The Symbian smartphone can achieve this feat with its built in 3G technology. In absence of 3G networks, the triband GSM handset can still provide data connectivity via it built in GPRS and EDGE technology. Presence of Bluetooth and USB makes it very easy to synchronize and transfer files in seconds - including media files to be played on the on board music player. The handset's 26 Mb of user memory pool can be further expanded using an external memory card, thus making enough space for everything you'd like to carry on your Nokia N76.
