Employee background checks are ever increasing as of late. More jobs that traditionally do not require a background check are not only conducting them on new hires but on existing employees as well. Current world events as well as increasing lawsuit activities has pushed the employer to make extra efforts in protecting their business.

Protection of children in most states new laws require that all employees working with children require an extensive drug and background check.

The Patriot Act Sept 11th, 2001 has increased our need for not only protecting our homes and family but our businesses as well. Many new laws require background checks for employees in sensitive positions.
