Market Shopping In New Orleans
The French Quarter is a great place to start. Only a short walk from Jackson Brewery is the Riverwalk Marketplace. This picturesque mall boasts panoramic views of the Mississippi River. Located between the Aquarium of the Americas and the Convention Center, the Riverwalk Marketplace offers traditional mall shops for consumers who may need to pick up items forgot during packing.
Visitors of the Garden District will want to stroll Magazine Street's shops. These brick storefronts house quaint antique, boutique and craft stores. With over 100 shops to explore you could easily spend the whole day discovering this area's shopping. Add the art galleries and cafes and it is easy to see why Magazine Street is famous for providing outstanding shopping.
Downtown, Uptown and all around New Orleans offers fantastic shopping. From the casual Farmers Market in the French Quarter to the finest specialty shops of Canal Place, locals and visitors have a plethora of choices.
