Most paid surveys are offered through subscriber sites in which you pay a fee to access their list of companies offering surveys. The lists offered by the membership sites are also available for free from many none membership sites. Spending a little time to research and find the free sites will save you money in the process. You will have access to the same lists of companies that you would by paying a membership fee.
A better way to make money is it to become an affiliate for some other company. You already have a website that you are spending time and money to promote. If you become an affiliate of another company, you can make additional money with your web site. The concept is simple and there is actually money to be made with an affiliate program with little effort on your part.
Affiliate programs are not scams that will rob you blind while someone else is making a bundle. Affiliate programs allow you to collect a finder's fee for each new contact you generate for another business. The business that you link to should be one that compliments your business and does not compete against you. You receive a payment based on each click, registration or sale that is generated by the link on your site to the other business.
The amount of payment and what is needed to generate the payment is spelled out in the terms of the agreement. Then you place the link on your site and forget about it. You simply collect funds for the click, registration or sale that was generated by your site for the other business. They then deposit the funds into your account and it is all legal and a good business practice as well.
Another major draw back with the idea of the paid survey is the amount of spam that is generated in your email inbox. This is something that is simply not the case with any affiliate program. Avoid paid survey scams and you will be money ahead. Get involved in an affiliate program and you will be even more money ahead.
