This first part of Samuel Blankson's "The Practical Guide to Total Financial Freedom" series focuses on how to secure yourself, you wealth and your family against disaster. The volumes offer very effective and pragmatic, easy-to-follow advice for quickly becoming financially free without taking huge risks.

If you've already read a number of wealth building books and still feel like you haven't made progress, then I'd suggest this book might help.

Why is this book different? Well, I've read piles of guides about becoming financially free. Yet rarely do they tell you the exact steps or tactics required to achieve the results. More often than not you have to attend the seminar, the workshop, buy the mentoring or coaching or whatever before you get the real detail that can make you rich. Not so with Mr Blankson's series - he has been there and done it and figured out the best ways. And he tells you about it in detail with all the secrets, all the winning strategies, all the down-and-dirty tactics he used to succeed.

It is just so rare to get all the information in one place these days.

What's the downside? Well, the biggest downside is that you have to buy all five volumes. In addition, some of the information may not be relevant to your country of domicile, so you may need to do some additional research to check the relevance of some of the steps. This is particularly the case with Volume 1. Don't let that put you off though - the principles are the same everywhere. Finally, if you are particularly conservative you may feel uncomfortable about moving beyone volume 2 or so. Even in the first volume Blankson is talking about investing in coloured diamonds! If non-traditional forms of investment scare you then you are probably better off looking elsewhere.

All that said, I really like his series. It is detailed enough to take action straight away and contains new and refreshing content about accelerating your wealth. If you are open-minded to new ideas and willing to take action then I recommend this book.
