If you are like me you work an eight-hour day forty-hour work week. You make enough to pay the bills, splurge on some luxuries, and save a little. The purpose of this article is to help you make a little extra money on the side with little effort.

1. Online Savings Accounts. Ditch your savings account that is only paying out half a percent interest. Get yourself a high yielding online checking's account that pay out 5% plus APY! I personally use Emigrant Direct, but there are many more out there: Washington Mutual Special Savings Account, Citibank e-Savings Account, E-Loan Savings, HSBC Direct Savings, and ING Direct. Do a Google search for any of these to find out more info and even find some promotional offers (i.e. $25 sign up bonus).

2. Credit card offers. Many credit card companies are willing to give out at least $100 free money or gift certificates just for you applying and making one purchase. My advice is to apply use it once, get your free money, and then trash the card. Again do a Google search to find current offers.

3. No Fee 0% APR Balance Transfer. This one combines number one and two. Again to get your business credit card companies offer No Fee 0% APR Balance Transfer for 12 months plus. If you have a high credit score you can borrow $10,000 and not have to pay interest on it for 12 months. So what should you do with that money? Put it into an Online Savings account that i described above. That's an extra $500+ in interest you will earn in 12 months. Be careful though, make sure to pay your minimum monthly balance and have it paid off in full before the 0% APR is over.

4. Online survey sites. Well there are a lot of them out there, which means a lot of spam about them all over the Internet. In my opinion this makes them all sound like scams. For this reason I only use one survey site, which only recruits new members through banner ads and occasion invites from current members. If you go directly to their site you can't just sign up and start getting surveys. They are called Pinecone Research. They send me two-three surveys per month in which I get compensated $5 each. Do a Google search for PineCone banner, sometimes it will bring up a website it's on. If it does...be patient, you'll have to search the entire site for the banner and if the banners change every minute. Keep viewing, you'll hit it sooner or later.

5. Online communities. Well everyone's heard of Myspace, Youtube, etc. These sites are making a crap load of money because they have a huge user base. Huge user base + Advertisements = Mucho Dinero! My final bored money tip is to be a part of one of these communities that actually compensates you. This community is currently in beta phase, but you can still join and build your network. The bigger your network the more you can earn. For more information please check out: http://www.boredwealth.com

Good luck in your bored money ventures!
