Are you constantly seeking ways to cope with stress overloads? To cope with stress, you need a healthy mind and body. A healthy mind and body will enable you to meet tight deadlines, manage personal problems, deal with crises, and cope with your stressors.

The secret to coping with stress is to keep the mind, body, and spirit in balance. The following are a few ways to keep your mind, body and spirit in balance to deal with your stressors. You can nourish the mind by reading books, the body by exercising, eating the right foods and drinking plenty of water, and the spirit by praying, meditating and saying affirmations. Now that you have a balanced body you are able to cope with stress.

To cope with stress you should:

1. Get six to eight hours sleep
2. Give yourself a break
3. Identify where your stress is coming from
4. Exercise
5. Accept what you cannot change
6. Avoid negative people/situations
7. Choose not to be stressed
8. Express your feelings
9. Meditate often to relax
10. Manage your time

To make your life easier, you may want to learn time management techniques. Make a "To Do" list and prioritize your duties. Then move the task from your "To Do" list to your daily calendar for accomplishment. Focus on the higher priority items and do the things that are doable. Do the important tasks during the peak times and the other tasks during nonpeak time. Do not worry about getting everything done. Scheduling your day will help to cut down on activities that are not important, and it will give you more time to deal with urgent matters. This is another way to help you cope with the stress overload in your life. It is advised that you seek professional help, if nothing you tried works.
