Ask any football fan what Denver Broncos tickets mean and they will tell you that they are tickets to see one of the most elite teams in the NFL play on the field today. The story of the Broncos is truly one of an underdog that nobody thought would make it. The Broncos were also a team that seemed to always be on the losing side, not just for a few years but for 13 long years. Today, the Broncos are where they deserve to be, right on top and one of the strongest teams in the NFL.

The Denver Broncos are part of the AFC West and the American Football Conference under the National Football League. The team plays its home games at the INVESCO Field at Mile High and has won 2 Super Bowl Championships, 6 Conference Championships and 10 Division Championships.

The Team That Almost Never Was

The Denver Broncos are a team that had very humble beginnings. Started in 1960, the team came close to folding in 1965 when they almost lost their franchise. Very few fans even bothered to buy Denver Broncos tickets because the team just didn't seem to have that spark. But even from the beginning, if there was one quality that the Broncos had it was drive. For nearly 13 years, the Broncos were pretty much associated with the bottom of the barrel but they plodded on. Finally in 1973, things began to change for the better.

The going was tough but there was a definite improvement in the Broncos' performance on the field and Denver Broncos tickets began to get more popular. A number of star players joined the team ranks like Craig Morton and John Elway and in 1977 the unimaginable happened. The Denver Broncos, a bottom of the barrel team, made it to the Super Bowl playoffs.

The Rise of a Star

There was now no turning back for the Broncos. With Denver Broncos ticket sales rising and fans clamoring for more great football, the pressure was definitely on. But the Broncos were more than ready. After all, they had spent nearly 13 years at the bottom of the pile and they weren't about to let their opportunities slide this time.

The Broncos posted back-to-back Super Bowl wins in 1997 and 1998. They also brought home a number of Division and Conference titles during the nineties and continue to be a force to reckon with in the new millennium. The Broncos are now one the NFL elite teams but they are a team that has certainly come up the hard way. This is why they continue to play with the same grit and determination that took them to the top in the first place.

Unfortunately, 2007 has been a hard year for the Denver Broncos. The team had to deal with the deaths of two of their players, one who was shot in his limo and the other who collapsed and died after a game. Despite their loss, the Broncos are still putting up a strong fight on the field. For real football enthusiasts who want to see the game played at its best, Denver Broncos tickets are the best way to go. You can even save yourself a lot of hassles by ordering your tickets online through an authorized ticket vendor.
