Water Purification Techniques
Pollution has mounted over the years. With technology and progress, pollution is created at a faster rate rather than its control measures. Water pollution is one of the acute pollution problems that the world faces. Millions die each year due to water contamination and many more suffer from various diseases. Drinking water from taps without treating them is a very risky thing to do. Deadly diseases are spreading and the treatments are pricey. Thus to negate yourself from the water calamities it is important that you drink safe, treated water.
The traditional methods are boiling, distillation and iodine treatment but there is no time for someone to boil their water each day and then drink. Thus water purifiers came into existence. Many water purifiers are available in the market today. These purifiers work on different technologies and the most widely used technology in water purifiers is the UV (Ultra-violet) technology of purification.
