No More Email Marketing Nonsense!

Have you started to loose confidence in the Internet Marketing emails you receive every day? Don't make the same mistakes they do.

When you sign up for a newsletter, you expect it to deliver what it promised - to give you some valuable lessons or information you can use to start or enhance your online business. But now it seems you get nothing more than promotion after promotion. Sure, they start out with something juicy to reel you in, but it doesn't take long until the useful information stops and the marketing nonsense begins.

What's worse is if you're on more than one list, you'll get the exact same promotion from multiple marketers. It's not fun to go through your inbox and see the same product being pushed by several people. Is the product really that great - did they even use it? How do we know?

It seems there are only a small handful of email marketers that still deliver quality newsletters these days. They still give something useful to their readers and thus are rewarded by increased sales, instead of increased subscription cancellations. They spend the time to build up the trust of their readers. Many Internet marketers preach the importance of building trust between your readers, but surprisingly few actually do it.

Things will begin to change

I find the most effective email marketers are those that aren't afraid to give their honest opinion about a product. They're not afraid to point out its flaws and shortcomings, instead of just giving it a hyped up endorsement in the hopes of making a sale. In the end, these types of honest reviews help to gain the trust of their readers, which ultimately will lead to more sales. People are more willing to buy from someone if they don't feel pressured and don't think they're being deceived.

With the emergence of Internet marketing review sites, such as Ratings Hub, that do not offer financial incentives to the reviewers, people can easily get the sheer facts about a product before they buy. The type of overblown reviews, such as those found in testimonials on sales pages (that are often obtained from the friends of the product creator), will no longer hold as much weight. The truth about a product is much more valuable, and now readers have the ability to cross check the information they're reading in the email - to see if what the message is saying holds any merit, or is just some more marketing nonsense.

As more marketers see their lists shrink and realize people are getting tired of the daily promotions being shoved down their throat, they will have no choice but to change their approach. They will have to understand their readers are not gullible fools and should be treated as such.

Don't make the same mistake!

If you're beginning to grow a list or have already got one started, don't be tempted to over sell it. Building trust really is more important these days. If you take the time to build up a strong relationship by giving quality information and honest reviews of the products you're promoting, you will stand the test of time and last a long time in the business.
