Golf Swing Problems

Experiencing a golf swing problem and not being able to redress it is
very much accepted nowadays. Millions of golfers each year walk off the course highly dejected and frustrated. They each have a golf swing problem and have attempted to mend it the "conventional way".
More specifically, what I mean is that they go to a golf trainer or
coach who can very easily notice what the golfer is doing wrong, but
cannot always get at the root cause of the problem. On numerous
occasions the trainer will inform the golfer that "he is coming over
the top" and that is why he is slicing the ball.

Or perhaps he's got the "chicken wing" in the follow through of his
stroke. But what does all that entail if you can not get to what is
causing and affecting that particular golf swing problem?

There can be many reasons for your golf swing problems but what I am
hoping here is that you will understand from this article that a lot of golf swing problems are caused by your body's inability to execute
optimum golf swing actions or movements.

Allow me to repeat that once more. Your body is the main culprit. If you do not have a look at what the 'physical' effect is, you can find yourself being in a position to receive all the lessons you feel to be necessary but you will still have the exact same golf swing problem.

Allow me to give you one specific example.

You experience a difficult time staying "in your stance" on your golf
swing. You have received numerous lessons and your golf trainer keeps
assuring you "you are coming out of your swing". But what benefit is
that advice if you do not recognise why this is occurring?

I will present you with one of numerous causes why this could be
happening!

The muscles at the back of your upper leg (your hamstrings) are too
taut and weak. This is a reality with the majority of golfers,
particularly the senior golfers.

Golf posture calls for a bending at the hips, which places a strain on the hamstrings and the lower regions of the back. Whenever your
hamstrings are taut, they will transmit a message to your brain stating "I can not control this, get me away from this awkward position".

Does that sound familiar and more importantly, does it make sense?
Another message your hamstrings may send out is "I am not sufficiently strong enough to maintain this position, I'm going to change out of this position".

This is a very basic cause of "coming out of your golf swing".

But if you are not well aware that this is the cause, you will carry on taking lessons and hear the same thing time and again. You could have saved hundreds of dollars in lessons, just by stretching and toning up your hamstrings specific to your golf stance.

This comprises just one of several examples of how your body is
inducing the golf swing problem.

Once you adopt the approach that your body determines your ability to
swing correctly, you will be on the right path to the most effective
golf of your life. You will soon not have to worry about a golf swing
problem any longer.
