The hopes of a recovery in the US economy depend largely on the effects of the massive bail out package by the government which is pending for approval by the Congress. The opposition to the bill mostly by the Republicans is viewed borne out of political reasons. The Fed Reserve chief hinted it recently, when he said that the recession would be over by the year end, and a recovery will begin this time next year, provided there is a political will.
Irrespective of the outcome of the bill one thing is very clear that gold and gold coin prices are poised to climb further in the near term. Gold as an investment option has reaffirmed its strong ground once again beating currency (dollar), stocks, bonds, real estate, commodities and what not. The recession will see further downside in all assets value except gold and gold coin prices. Analysts predict gold prices to reach $2000 an ounce in three years from now. And they have a valid reason to believe counting historic factors.
The story of gold was always of an upsurge since it was minted centuries ago. It was symbol of value, wealth and power for very long time. Gold dominated during the period when gold standard was in force in most countries. And faced a set back though when it was abandoned in the latter half of last century. But it remained top asset class and regained its glory as dollar succumbed to pressure to remain sluggish for decades. And the current recession has once again proved its superiority over all other assets.
And in the prevailing situation gold and gold coin prices are looking up. And it is wise to get exposure to the uptrend in gold and cold coin prices. By buying gold coins in small units regularly will easily get you this opportunity and give more value to your investment.
