Why Teleseminars

If you are a business owner, whether that business is online, offline or both, or if you are an internet marketer, then teleseminars may be an overlooked avenue you can utilize to promote your business and increase sales.

Marketing is all about relationships. You often hear - find a niche or business, find out what problems they have or what they want to buy, then solve their problems or offer the products and watch the money roll in. (Obviously, this is the short version.)

Yet, this is basically the way to do it. However, what they are really saying is to find a niche or business so you can start a relationship.

Find out what problems they are having or what products they want so you can solve their problems by writing to them with the answers they want (creating more of a relationship) and you will be able to charge money for your services. How?

You can do this through the relationship that you are creating with your prospects, customers and clients.

Does this sound good?

Now, what do teleseminars have to do with developing relationships with your prospects, customers and clients?

If you don't have a relationship with your prospects, customers and clients then you don't have a strong business. All you are doing is selling with no feelings what so ever. You have to continually be looking for new customers and this is the most expensive way to conduct business.

People need to know, like and trust you before they will buy from you. That's what a relationship is all about.

Have you ever gone to a show room to buy a car?

What upsets you more than anything? Isn't when the salesperson comes right over to you and starts talking to you about a car?

Or do you prefer the salesperson who introduces him or herself and says take your time, look around, if you have any questions let me know and I will be glad to answer them for you.

Which one of these sales persons are trying to create a relationship with you?

Better yet, which one of these people would you rather talk to?

Most people would rather talk with the second one, of course.

This is the same approach you should be taking to create a relationship with your prospects and customers. You do not have to be pushy. Let them look around your site. Give them the opportunity to get to know you.

If they have a problem or are looking for a product, and they have a good feeling about what you said or what they see, they will come to you to solve their problems or buy products.

When this happens, you just created a relationship. And that's a great feeling.

So where do teleseminars come in to play?

As a business owner, attending and holding teleseminars can be a wonderful way to expand your business.

Attending teleseminars is a great way to learn what creating a relationship is about. Think about it, why are you on the call in the first place? You're on the call because someone you know recommended this person. Or perhaps you know this person yourself. You are trying to get your questions answered and your problems solved.

When this happens you will be creating a relationship with that person and they will be creating a relationship with you. It works both ways.

So why attend teleseminars?

Relationships, Relationships, Relationships.

You are hoping to create a relationship or you already have a relationship with this person.

Being in any business is all about the relationship. "Period"

If you know the teleseminar host offers a good presentation, you might even recommended these calls to someone you know that is in business. You have created a relationship with this person. You know and trust them enough to recommend them to someone you know. What better way to get to know some one.

Now the second part is, have you ever held a teleseminar?

Your intention when you hold your own teleseminar is to create a relationship with the people that are on the call. As you develop this relationship, people attending the teleseminars will get to know, like and trust you. This will give your business a boost as it not only promotes you and your business, but you can even make special offers to the people attending the teleseminars.

There is another great reason for having teleseminars. It is a great way to create content for your own website, articles, newsletter, podcasts, blogs, email series and the list goes on and on.

Creating a relationship with your prospects, customers and clients is the very best way to build a profitable business. Be truthful at all times and always look out for your customers.

Always give great content whether you are writing it or speaking it on a teleseminar. This is the best way to create a relationship.

The next time you are invited to be on a teleseminar be there. Try to get in the habit and be on them. You will be amazed how much you can learn plus the relationships can be very profitable.

Add teleseminars to your marketing and utilize them to promote you, your business and your products. Then watch for your sales and profits to increase.
