How Do I Change My Password

MSN uses the Windows Live ID which works on all Microsoft Passport Sites.
1. Login to the Passport network by visiting "https://accountservices.passport.net" and using your MSN ID
2. Go to the "Account Summary" page.
3. Under the heading "Password reset information", click "Change" next to "Password".
4. First check whether the e-mail address shown in the "Windows Live ID" field is correct.
5. Then type the old password in the box provided.
6. Enter a new password and confirm it again.
7. Click the "Make my password expire every 72 days" check box if you prefer to set your password to expire every 72 days, and then click "Save".
To Reset your Password
If you have forgotten your password, you need to reset it before you can sign in to Windows Live again. You can reset your password using one of the two methods shown below.
To reset your password by requesting a password reset e-mail:
1. Click the "Forgot your password" link in the sign-in page on any Windows Live website or service.
2. Enter your MSN ID and then type the characters shown in the Picture box, and click "Continue".
3. Select the "Send password reset instructions to me in e-mail" option.
4. Select the e-mail address where you want the password reset e-mail to be sent to from the list shown, and then click "Continue".
5. Click "OK" on the confirmation page.
6. When you receive the password reset e-mail, click the link in the e-mail to reset your password, and then follow the online instructions.
To reset your password by providing location information and the answer to your secret question:
1. Click the "Forgot your password" link in the sign-in page on any Windows Live website or service.
2. Enter your MSN ID and then type the characters shown in the Picture box, and click "Continue".
3. Select the "Use my location information and secret answer to verify my identity" option.
4. In the "Country/Region" list, select the name of your country or region, select your state, and then type your ZIP code or postal code if you're prompted to do so. In the "Question" area in the "Secret Answer" box, type your answer to the question and then click "Continue".
5. Enter a new password and confirm it again.
6. If prompted, enter an alternate e-mail address and click "Continue" or click "Skip" to bypass this step.
7. Click the "Sign in to Windows Live" link on the "You've changed your password page".
