Start On Top In Direct Sales
Ironically, nothing for something is often the result. The result of considerable sweat equity invested in promoting low-cost or no-cost programs is often an organization of people incapable of duplicating one's results, People who are likely to remain financially challenged for a long time to come.
Feeder programs that operate at the next tier, say $200-500 to get in and get resale rights, produce more of the same type of thing. Most promoters are lucky to make one sale. Remember it takes no more effort to promote a $4000 program than a free one.
I have chosen to position my marketing so I emphasize higher end programs, such as liberty league, coastal vacations, emerald passport,and predator marketing system. I will occasionally promote other things that offer resources and education I can endorse 100% (a rare program), but I consistently emphasize that the way to get into the Big Leagues is to begin there.
I think it will be easier for many, many people to go out and get a second job than it will be for them to bootstrap themselves from no-money to a 6-figure income as online marketers. Any sensible offline business person will tell you it takes capital to build a business, not so online. There is an endless parade of pitchmen telling people they will make six-figure in the next year by staring at the bottom.
The problem is…most everybody who joins your business will have no capital to build it either. Massive attrition and disappointment (which alienates your mailing list), results.
Stories to counter this will abound…. and I am no advocate myself of impossibility. But here is my truth:
How We Do Anything Is How We Do Everything
Personal development programs like direct sales, liberty league, and predator marketing system courses generally follow this credo. Those who play full-out and go for it are the ones who succeed wildly. This entails committing 100%, including financially, to making the desired change in life.
At times, when I was building my foundation, I would go out and hustle carpentry work to afford my marketing costs… and it has paid off. My total commitment to my own success in the mentor-ing industry is the No.1 factor. I never sought ''to put my toe in the water'', nor did I seek safety or external validation. I determined for myself that I valued education highly and to that end I have totally embraced education as my preferred product.
I am not saying that money cannot be made with programs that are not educational… just that embracing the education presented by a few excellent direct selling companies like liberty league, emerald passport, and predator marketing system has been the essential ingredient to my success in promoting them.
I am financially free at this point. Its good to be here and I feel that anybody with some brain cells and total determination can get there. It will not, however, in most cases, happen by playing small.
