Achieve What You Want by Asking For It

One of the most valuable lessons I ever learned from my father was that you will never know unless you ask. So, one of the most important things you can do for yourself is get clear about what you want and then ask for it. Whether you want something related to your career, your relationships, your health and fitness goals, or it is just some material possession you desire, put it out there and watch what happens. The key here is to verbalize it. Tell someone, write it down, and then send it out into the universe. Sometimes the mere fact of saying it out loud will bring you an immeasurable amount of peace - you will feel every organ, muscle, joint, and bone in your body relax and suddenly the fear or anxiety that used to reside in that space of wanting will go away and you will be free to receive that which you want the most.

I am not saying that all you have to do is sit on your couch and watch TV all day and a job will land in your lap simply because you said you want a job out loud; however, often the mere act of saying it will propel you toward it and the more you say it, the more it becomes part of you. Verbalizing it and sharing it with others will motivate you to do something about it. You become accountable for your desires and you begin putting pieces into place that will move you toward it. Finally, and most importantly, you have to believe in it, believe you deserve it, and believe you have the ability to achieve it.

Imagine what is possible if only you would ask.
