If you are looking for good skin care treatment there are a few things you can do as far as a skin care regimen that are actually free! Other things you need to consider are: First, do you have a skin problem? Do you have allergies? What are you looking for in a skin care treatment program? Once you know what you are looking for, it will really narrow down the field for you and help you make good choices. This article talks about things you can do yourself to help keep you skin looking its best. Then a recommendation is given for finding skin care products that will work for you based on your goals.

It is amazing how simple a good skin care treatment can really be. A lot of it starts with you just taking good care of your skin. For example if you sometimes get just a few pimples you may find that simply washing your face with a good soap and some water twice a day can get rid of those pimples. Also, if you do have pimples be sure not to pop them. If you pop them you run the risk of an infection and you don't want that because it can turn into a scar.

Another inexpensive and free thing you can do for skin care is very simple. Don't touch your face. It is such a hard habit to break, I know, but when think of it this way, your hands and fingers are gathering dirt all day long from the items you are touching and every time you touch your face, that dirt gets on your face and that can cause more pimples, not to mention all the germs, YUK! Another good tip is to sterilize your phone a couple of times a week or daily if someone in your house is sick. Another free tip is to keep your glasses clean. Especially the area that is touching your nose because oil and dirt can stick to your glasses and then get transferred to your nose and the eye area.

Of course we all know this rule, if you are a woman and wear makeup you should definitely wash it off before you go to bed. Here is a helpful hint. Instead of waiting until right before bed time to remove your makeup, try washing your face as soon as you get home. We all get tired by bed time and tend to put off washing our face because we are too tired, but if you wash as soon as you get home from work, you will get the makeup off and you won't have to worry about doing it later when you are so tired. If you do have a tendency to get acne you should do all the above plus make sure you keep your hair clean. Dirty, oil hair will transfer dirt to your face and increase the chances of pimples showing up.

Once you have started your skin care treatment and have implemented the free tips mentioned above, you may even want to consider using a good line of skin cleanser. When you are looking for any type of skin care product it is important to know if you have sensitive skin or allergies. If so, then you need to use only those products that will not irritate your skin. Lancome offers great products that are non-allergenic. Go to your local department store and ask for samples of the skin cleansers before you make a purchase. This way you will not have to spend a lot of money to find something that works for you.

With any skin care treatment it is a good idea to look for small sample sizes so you can try them without spending a lot of money. Many brands will carry a guarantee that if it doesn't work for you or causes an allergic reaction of some sort, they will refund your money. Always look for the guarantee. In closing I want to encourage you to find a skin care treatment regiment that works for you. Know what you want to achieve and then find the products that will help you toward that goal.
