Economic data released today:
Import and Export Prices: U.S. October Import Prices fell 4.7 percent compared to consensus of a drop by 4.0 percent; U.S. October Non-Petroleum Import Prices fell 0.9 percent; U.S. October Petroleum Import Prices fell 16.7 percent.
Retail Sales: U.S. October Retail & Food Sales fell 2.8 percent as compared to consensus of a drop by 2.4 percent; U.S. October Retail & Food Sales Excluding-Autos fell 2.2 percent; U.S. September Retail & Food Sales Revised to a drop by 1.3 percent from a drop by 1.2 percent.
Business Inventories: U.S. September Business Inventories fell 0.2 percent compared to expected drop by 0.1 percent.
Consumer Sentiment: University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Mid-November Current Index came in at 61.4 compared to reading in October of 58.4; University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Mid-November Expectations came in at 55.7 compared to reading in October of 57.0; University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment 12-Month Inflation Forecast rose 2.9 percent compared to increase in October of 3.9 percent; University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment 5-Year Inflation Forecast rose 2.9 percent compared to increase in October of 2.9 percent; University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Mid-November Sentiment came in at 57.9 compared to reading in October of 57.6.
