People Building NLP and Hypnotherapy Training are making their mark on the Hypnosis and NLP Community. Not satisfied with providing outstanding acclaimed trainings, they are actually impacting on parliament.

People Building NLP and Hypnosis, have a dream. The dream is that one day, NLP and Hypnosis, powerful change techniques, might be given the same official recognition as house hold medicines, such as Paracetamol. They believe that there are 3 major milestone to be achieved to make this possible.

1)NLP and Hypnotherapy should have one, overseeing national body who regulate the quality of the trainings, the therapists, and the therapies given.

2)NLP and Hypnotherapy should have a set standard of accreditation to be achieved at multiple levels, that is adhered to by all training providers.

3)NLP and Hypnotherapy should be available to everyone who would benefit from it, it should be available with the same ease as one can go to the doctor and be prescribed anti depressants. We want to see NLP and Hypnotherapy readily available on the NHS.

This is why, they are putting together a petition, with the above 3 aims in mind. They are going to collect 5000 names, and then post them off to the health minister for consideration. This isn't a new idea, by any stretch of the matter, there is always "talk" of new ways of regulating hypnotherapy amongst the therapists and various awarding bodies, but to my knowledge, it is the first instance that the public have been openly invited to express their opinion on the matter- In fact, they actively encourage you to pledge your support, and invite anyone else you know who believes in the power of these resourceful change techniques to do the same.
