There is a new treat for all zombie games lovers, and of course for all those that like to watch a good scary movie with zombies. We are talking about the forth part of the movie franchise Resident Evil based upon the same titled and highly popular video game. This part is titled Resident Evil: Afterlife.
The world has been infected by a mysterious virus that turns its victims into mindless zombies. Again we come face to face with Mila Jovovich in the role of Alice, the heroine that is on a mission against the infected people. In this part it seams as if Los Angeles is the only place that could offer some kind of safety from the Undead, but what will happen if this city is already infested with the undead zombies?! In her battle against the giant Umbrella Corporation, Alice gets some help from an old friend…
This is the only movie at the American box office this week, with earnings of $27.7 million at the moment, just for the first weekend of its showing. It's a real record breaker for zombie franchise, based on a videogame. It must be mentioned that this movie was made in 3D technology that automatically puts higher prices for the tickets, but also gives better pleasure watching it.
