Is Your Six Pack Hiding At The Back Of Your Fridge?

If you're looking to get six pack abs, you're not alone, and you are also not alone in making probably the single biggest, most common mistake.

Let's take the fridge analogy which I used to title this article. Imagine that the six pack you want in your abs, is the six pack in your fridge. It looks great, all appealing with those little drops of condensation down the side.

The trouble is, you can't see it properly because it's at the back of the shelf, hidden by 3 packets of lard. You keep fretting about why no-one can see your six pack, until someone tells you that all you need to do is move the lard out of the way.

Do you see where I'm going with this in relation to six pack abs?!

Your abdominal muscles are covered with fat, and in the majority of cases, it's a fair old layer of fat too. All the crunches in the world, and all the cardio in the world may well build your abs, but until you get rid of that fat, no-one will see them!

In order to get rid of that layer of fat, you need an all round fitness routine, including cardio and muscle work. You also need to make sure your diet is healthy, with plenty of protein, fruit, veg.

Then, if you stick at it, your belly fat will drop away, and guess what it'll reveal - your abs!

It's at this point that you can focus your efforts on working those abs, but to be honest, by that time, if you've followed an all round programme, and stuck to a healthy diet, they'll be in pretty good shape anyway, and you'll find yourself with great six pack abs!
