Where Should You Go To Find True Romance?

Some people think that it is far easier to find love these days, especially with the birth of the internet. This could not be further from the truth however as more and more people are single and living on their own. So where should people go in their quest to find true love?
When I was in my twenties there were two main areas where I believed I could meet a woman, these were in a bar/nightclub and at work. I have never been what you would call a stud however I have managed to meet a future girlfriend at both of these places. In truth working each day with your girlfriend is not a particularly good idea for the majority of people and the types of women you meet in bars (in general) are not the types who are looking for a long term relationship.
Nowadays the internet is often the first port of call for the younger generation of people who are seeking to meet a member of the opposite sex. There will be many who will find their true love via one of these online dating websites however I often feel that most of the people who are using these sites have been round the block more times than a milk float.
In my opinion the best places to find true long lasting love and romance is at some form of club. This could be a sports club, a debating society, a history club, a music club, a youth club or at one of the other many different types of club that are in your local area. Which club or clubs you choose to join will depend, of course, on the things that are of interest to you.
The benefit of finding a partner at a club is that they are then likely to be a person who has similar interests to you.
Many many people have found their current husband/wife at a club and you could be the next. Go for it!
