Praying- it Is!

Ecclesiastes 3:15 is one of those most powerful verses that's so spiritual in nature that we miss it. The world gets it- or at least Eckhart Tolle does. The verse says, "That which was IS NOW and that which has yet to be, already IS." In other words the world is lived in the NOW. And therein is a key for how we should PRAY!

To pray that "Something WILL happen" is in essence to say that IT IS NOT! If I pray for God to pay off my bills, my prayers are greeatly hindered as I am abandoning my responsibility in the matter, pushing everything on God (who is now seen as separate from me). The proper prayer and confession would be I AM (debt free) or whatever it is that you know.

"Calling that which IS NOT as though it WERE" (Rom. 4:17)- because IT IS! It's not soemthing that's going to BE, but something that simply IS! Just because it can't be SEEN yet doesn't mean it is not. That which is SEEN is only an illusion after all (II Cor. 5:18).

A very important part of our prayer life is to come into not just agreement or mental assent to the ONENESS that Jesus spoke of in John 17, but to BE that ONE- living in the NOW. This means that we have to change the  "person" from which we pray. We must move from the third person singular (He) to the first person singular (I).  When we pray that HE, God-Creator will do something we are admitted separation (which is a lie). The "I" that I AM, which God IS is everything that's needed.

Such language sounds strange, like double talk; however, what it truly amounts to is spiritual talk.

Religion, in it's theistic paradigm, tells us that there is a God OUT THERE who intervenes from time to time. Yet Jesus said God was in Him, and He was in God, we are in them. Once you change your prayer life (and your belief structures) from an "out there" to an "in here", and then you move from a "will be" to a "now is" stuff begins to happen.

It doesn't happen over night, nor does it happen without true immersion into the prayer.

Of course if your prayers are being answered daily, then thre's no need to change. But, if you need help and want to discuss this a bit more and to share some of your experiences with others, simply CLICK HERE NOW.
