Bone China: Extremely strong and doesn't chip easily so it's great for everyday use; however, its smooth appearance makes it ideal for special occasions too.

Earthenware: A heavy duty style of pottery with a rustic appearance

Porcelain: Extremely strong and incredibly smooth with a translucent appearance. It's the finest of all ceramics
