Add Website Content

Add website content and plenty of it if you want your visitors coming back for more. Here are four of the best ways, what's good about them and what's not.

Write it yourself.

This is the best option, because it gives you total control over what goes in your articles and how you promote your work.

The downside is that it can be time-consuming, and doubly frustrating if you don't enjoy writing or you find it difficult.

It will seem less like hard work, though, if you find a niche that you are enthusiastic about, or at least one that you feel you can become enthusiastic about.

Pay someone else to write it.

When you pay someone to write an article for you, you also buy the rights to it. This means you can publish it as your own work, or change it in any way you want to.

There are various article writing services available online. You can get a 500-word article written for a few dollars, although it may take a couple of hits before you find a writer, or group of writers, whose style you like and who produce the quality of work you expect.

Publish articles written by others.

Simply paste articles from article directories around straight into your webpages. The disadvantages of adding content this way are that you cannot change the article in any way, and you must include the author's resource box, complete with its links. This might mean visitors click away from your site.

Private Label Rights (PLR) articles.

Nobody owns the exclusive rights to these articles. This means you can do what you want with them; publish them under your own name, chop them about or add to them. They are usually inexpensive, too.

The disadvantage is that you're likely to be sharing them with hundreds, if not thousands, of other webmasters.

So, if you want to quickly fill your website with valuable content and start to get ranked by the search engines firstly get some articles from the directories. Then try some of the other ways to generate content and see which ones work best for you.
