You are probably wondering "what are data entry jobs?" and "what should I know before I get started?". I am here to tell you exactly what they are and what they involve. Basically, the job title implies everything you will be doing. You will be typing in forms, transcribing, writing referrals and more. Some companies have you typing and posting ads to receive sales commission also. A job that only has you typing ads to receive sales commission is really a marketing job, not a true "data entry" job.
A true "data entry" job will have you doing combinations of typing tasks, and possibly some ad typing. You should be aware that there are many scams online under the title "data entry" jobs. Just type in "data entry jobs" into your search engine and you will see thousands of results. Before you leap, you must look! Always review the full contents of the website carefully. Insure that the site looks professional. Look for certifications from NCL or SCAMX. Professional companies will clearly display their certifications. Read all of the page contents. Sometimes the page will have a lengthy disclaimer at the end with contents you should definitely read before you join anything. If the whole page is just claims of "make $100's now" and testimonials from people, but no actual information about the company, exit the page! Its just a scam! Scam pages are strategically designed to make people sign up on impulse. Be aware that there are many companies out there charging several hundred dollars for your "sign up". That is outrageous. You should never have to pay anything over $50 to receive startup tutorials and software guide. If you are paying more than that, you are lining the pockets of some random guy who has made an ingenious scam page. I would suggest you research, look for NCL and SCAMX certifications like I mentioned earlier and thoroughly look into the company before you start. Good companies will have information contacts or extensive company information on their main page.
