LG has announced the launch of its second mobile phone in the premium Black label series for the UK consumers. First it was LG chocolate and now the LG KE970 Shine, the manufacturer has certainly upped the ante in the mobile market. The glossy handset looks good with a shining mirror display and is equipped with an auto focus camera by renowned lens maker Schneider Kreuznach. LG Shine has been a huge draw in Korea and the manufacturer expects a similar feat in the UK. A high-profile advertisement campaign led by noted magician David Blaine is already creating the buzz.

Looks is the main selling point of this handset. An elegant full-metal body with a reflective 2.2 inch screen speaks luxury. Slide the glossy exteriors to find a ‘magic mirror' full colour screen display. The keys are illuminated with blue light and a multi-functional scroll key gives you speedy and intuitive access to the main menu.

LG Shine boasts of a 2-megapixel Auto Focus camera endorsed by renowned lens-maker Schneider-Kreuznach to help you click some bright and clear snapshots. The handset features an integrated media player with multi-codec support for MP3, ACC++ and WAV files, real spectrum and 10 equalizer effects. The sound quality is good and listening music on it is great pleasure.

The handset offers high-speed browsing on your mobile with WAP 2.0 browser. The Document Viewer with support for PPT, TXT, PDF, DOC, XLS files to view office documents. The mobile phone offers many connectivity options including USB Port and Bluetooth. GPRS, EDGE(Class) 10 enables fast data-transfer.
