Personal Photo Greeting Cards

A very good idea for photo greeting cards has come to mind. Of course, the idea has been around for quite some time, however you can put your own personal spin on the idea. These personal greeting cards can be sent any time of the year, especially around the holidays, because any family member or dear friend loves pictures of their loved ones. The memories are extra special that time of year.

Here's the idea…during the year when you, your spouse and/or children are at an event such as a vacation, weekend away or someplace special, capture the moment with a photograph and have it put on a greeting card.

Most retail photo shops can do this…or do it yourself.

On this photo greeting card, give it your own spin with imaginative words concerning your event, wishing them a "Merry Christmas", "Happy New Year", "thinking of you", etc. The thought behind this is that your loved ones enjoy seeing you having fun and enjoying the times with your family.

Include a short note telling them how much fun you had at this particular event, but avoid those lengthy "year in my history" letters informing them of your ups and downs, trials and tribulations". Your intention is to enlighten their day and make them smile with wonderful thoughts.

Here's an example of a personal greeting card the author has recently witnessed. It's from a girl who loves the city life and would never be caught in a farm, especially with animals. The photograph on this personal greeting card shows her standing in front of a bunch of dairy cows with her arm around the cow's neck…and she's posing for the camera.

She sent this photo greeting card to her friends and family for a holiday greeting and the caption on the card said "Merry Christmas and a Happy Moo Year!" Included with the photo greeting card was a short note telling why she was there to pose with the cows.

The family and friends who received the card still talk about it, because it "made their day" in knowing she is well and having fun.

Capture your moments on film and share these moments with family and friends. It's another way to show them you care. When they see you enjoying life it instills happiness in them. And think of the fun you will have being creative while amusing those you love.
