Start off slow. You did not gain weight over night and it will not come off over night. Just be prepared to eat right, and exercise slowly and it will come off. You may not feel like doing a whole lot for the first few weeks. Know that this is normal and you will start getting back your energy. Being a new parent is hard enough without adding your own worries of your weight loss.

Make sure to get approved by your doctor before starting any exercise program. Drink lots of water and take it easy. Your body will have to get used to exercising and being normal again. You can be on a diet but do not use a crash or fad diet.
