I recently heard an amazing story about a two year old baby boy by the name of Gabriel, who was the son of parents who were members of the Christian missionary group The Family International.

Gabriel died when he was 2 years old, he lived through two years of sickness and pain as he had Down syndrome and was often very sick nearing death. The doctors who treated Gabriel and helped deliver him when he was born thought he would never live to the age that he did. Gabriel was very sick, in pain and near death through most of his two years of life. Even though he died when he was two years old and he seemed insignificant, I believe he was the greatest disciple Jesus Christ ever had. You may be wondering; how can a 2 year old baby be the greatest disciple Jesus Christ ever had? Well once you read this article and see the truth I'm sure it will convict you of the truth and help you see the light, and I'm sure if you follow Gabriels example you too could become a great disciple of Jesus Christ.

I first met the Christian missionary group The Family International about two years ago, and not long after I met members of The Family International I had a supernatural manifestation appear before my eyes. To my utter amazement and shock, I saw words appear out of thin air; the words said: "Join the disciples and nothing shall be impossible." I was awe struck by this vision as I felt God had called me to be a disciple. But I didn't really know what a disciple was, as I had never been a Christian before and I had never heard about or understood what The Family or any other Christian disciple group was about or it what they were involved in. So I started to research in Christian publications as to what a disciple actually was.

I discovered that there are different categories of disciples, and some are considered more superior and dedicated than others. I often thought that God probably wanted me to join the greatest and most dedicated disciples, since he had given me that outright revelation. So I started to wonder; who are the greatest disciples?

I really felt burdened with that message from God to join the disciples, I felt I needed to follow it and I wanted to achieve the impossible. I fellowshipped with my Christian friends as much as I could, I certainly got much out of it and I grew spiritually in an incredible way. But my association with my Christian friends was not smooth sailing; there were definitely storms and rough conditions along the way, which distanced me from my Christian friends, and brought me into the clutches of the devil. The devil sowed ideas of hate and bitterness into my mind and turned me against God, and he even got me turning against my Christian friends. Even though we are saved through Jesus Christ, the devil can still influence us and destroy our destiny on earth, and even turn us against the people we love.

I was stuck in a ditch in my life, I was bitter against God and I was spiritually lost. Not even the bible could help me get out of this spiritual ditch I was stuck in. It seemed darkness had totally surrounded me, I thought the devil had beaten me forever; it was like the devil had me trapped in a spiritual prison of hopelessness, self pity and emotional torment. I felt absolutely nothing could save me from this spiritual prison I was trapped in. I even called on the keys of the kingdom in Jesus name, and I still couldn't break free of this spiritual prison that oppressed me. It seemed like the devil had mustered his entire forces against me to oppress me forever.

I started searching for spiritual weapons to get myself out of this spiritual prison of oppression. I searched all the famous and epic Prophetic Letters of Prophets, but nothing would work. I tried quoting God's word, but I still couldn't break free of this spiritual prison of darkness that oppressed me. Suicide even crossed my mind, because I was being so spiritually afflicted, I felt suicide was the only way to release the pain of affliction and oppression I felt. I needed some powerful new wine to help me get out of this spiritual prison, I searched all The Family Internationals new wine and other Christian publications and tried everything, but nothing would work. It seemed like I needed the most powerful disciple ever, to actually come to me and pray over me, to help me break out of this spiritual prison of torment and oppression. I felt like the devil and all his demons had completely surrounded me and would not go away, they were like dreadful objects all too familiar. I needed a miracle to save me.

One day someone from The Family told me about a disabled boy named Gabrielle who was also known as the golden butterfly. At the time, I thought I couldn't care less about some young disabled boy who'd passed away a longtime. I was worried about myself and the epic spiritual battle I was entangled in, and a disabled boy who had passed away and lived a seemingly insignificant life; seemed unimportant and irrelevant to me.

Later that week I was reading through various Family Christian publications, and I came across the story of Gabriel. Out of curiosity or by the will of God I felt compelled to read about Gabriel's life. As I began reading about Gabriel's life tears came out of my eyes as I read with marvel how similar I was to Gabriel. I read how Gabriel loved to look at pictures of Jesus Christ and heaven and how he always pointed at the Heavenly city and Jesus with his little hand, like he knew he was going to go there one day. Tears came into my eyes as I whispered through my lips "I love the pictures of the heavenly city as well."

I remembered I used to look with adoration at the pictures of Jesus and Heaven too. I used to point at those pictures and think that I'd be there one day as well, just like Gabriel did; at that moment I saw a vision of Gabriel pointing at a picture of Jesus with his little hand, and then I was completely set free of the spiritual prison the devil had trapped me in. The devil's forces had surrounded me and had me trapped, but when I saw Gabriel's hand point toward Jesus I was completely set free. The forces of Satan were completely destroyed by the hand of Gabriel. Whenever I feel Satan is coming to attack me, his attacks get blocked by Gabriel.

The negative thoughts and spiritual afflictions the Devil throws at me are completely eclipsed by the powerful vision of Gabriel's hand pointing toward Jesus. It seems Gabriel is my spirit helper and a very powerful one, the devil and his army are no match for the majesty and power of Gabriel. Whenever the darkness tries to grab a hold of me; Gabriel protects me. The golden butterfly shines radiantly in the darkness, and the darkness cannot comprehend it. I was lost in the darkness, but Gabrielle became my guiding light.

It seemed like the devil and his entire forces were attacking me, the devil wanted me destroyed, he wanted me to commit suicide to escape the affliction he was tormenting me with. Nothing seemed to protect or save me from the devils torments; I had no idea a disabled weak baby that had passed away sometime ago was the thing that would save me. I still didn't understand why Gabriel was the only thing that saved me. But eventually God revealed to me, that Gabriel was the most powerful disciple that was ever spawned; Gabriel was the greatest among the Children of God. He was the greatest disciple Jesus ever had. He was a Golden Butterfly and a special gift not only for his parents, but for all God's children. I feel that Gabriel was a special gift to me, for without Gabriel I wouldn't have the strength to go on. Gabriel is literally dragging me through my life with Jesus, and seems to be the only spirit helper and disciple that can protect me from the devil.

Gabriel's sickness that caused him affliction and pain was like a crown of thorns he wore his whole life. The pangs of sickness that afflicted him were like sharp thorn's that tormented him. His whole life was spent wearing this cruel crown of thorns that tormented him. The crown of thorns was like a dreadful object he wore. The burden which weighed on his weak existence was like a cross he carried throughout his whole life.

When Jesus Christ walked towards his death he also wore a crown of thorns, and he also carried a heavy cross, which was a burden that weighed on Him. The crown of thorns Jesus wore was a crown of righteousness and majesty, and the cross he carried was like a torch that symbolized the only hope for a lost humanity.

Gabriel's crown of thorns was also a crown of righteousness and majesty. Throughout his whole life he wore that crown of righteousness. The cross Gabriel carried through his life was also like a torch of hope. Gabrielle took up his cross daily, and he wore that crown of thorns as he marched toward his death, just like Jesus did. Gabrielle leads the Children of God through the darkness, as he penetrates the darkness with his torch of light and hope.

Gabriel was the greatest among the Children of God, and he sits on a high throne in the Kingdom of Heaven. For he that is least among you all, the same shall be great (Luke 9:48). Gabriel was the greatest among them all. The day Gabriel was born, a crown of righteousness and supreme majesty was placed upon his head, and he still wears this glorious crown as he sits on his throne in Gods Kingdom as a great and mighty King.

When Peter was sinking into the sea, Jesus told him to focus on Him and he wouldn't sink. It touched my heart when I read how Gabriel kept pointing at pictures of Jesus throughout his life, even though he knew he was sinking towards his death. Gabriel was sinking towards death his whole two and a half years of life, but he never stopped focusing on Jesus. Although he could never read or recite the gospel, he did something even greater, he took up his cross and gave us a sample of what a disciple should be. He didn't have the ability to give us a sermon, but he had the ability to give us something greater, he gave us a living ensample of what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ.

Gabrielle is now a righteous and majestic ruler of the Great City he once pointed at with his little hand. But more importantly, Gabrielle is my friend who lay down his life for me, so that I might live and fight on. I have literally taken a hold of the Golden Butterfly's hand and he is gliding me through life. Gabriel told me "take my hand and come fly with me." As I fly high above in the sky with the golden butterfly, the problems in my life seem like tiny little things way down below that can't touch or hurt me. Gabriel is like a golden butterfly that flies like a shooting star across the midnight sky, and he has taken me with him. The Golden Butterfly is always with me and never leaves my side. I have now obeyed God's command to the greatest extent I ever could. I have joined the greatest disciple Jesus ever had, Gabriel is in a discipleship category of his own, and reigns supreme over all The Children of God. Now that I'm with the Golden Butterfly, I feel that nothing shall be impossible.

Gabriel now lives in the Heavenly City up in Heaven with Jesus Christ and flies around in Heaven like a beautiful golden butterfly, but sometimes he comes down to earth to visit me and keep me company as I get lonely sometimes. Recently Gabriel visited me and he recited a beautiful poem to me about how he sees the Heavenly City, I'd like to share it with you and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I love this city gold, it thrills you

Love my Heavenly City, this I do

Flying upon the wind of The Heavenly City with wings as swift as thoughts of love

Flying beyond imagination, where dreamers dream forever, away from the hands of time

I've sailed over to the other shore, where the sun lights the rainbow and where my endless journey begun, leaving the sorrowful world of pain behind me

My soul and my wings have been set free

Its only joy to travel this expanse, the bluest sky, the whitest doves, the whitest pearls and the brightest gold

Vivacious she is, with pearls of romance

Each time I walk through those streets paved with transparent gold, magic it feels, that's all one can say

My city's been thrilling, sixteen years in dears, and then with The Family, brothers too, did see the new saints come through

You only have to stroll through those pearl gates

"It's the river of life! Look!" you hear the new saints merry

Walls made of beautiful gem stones and jewels surround the city, they look like rainbow walls

All the beauty which is your surround, really, I doubt in the world I am bound anywhere else

Beautiful city, you won't see one better

I fly like a shooting star up into the horizon and I look at it from above

It's like an enchanted dream or a spectacular vision from the heavens, up there's a star in no uncertain way

Real city, real people, real feelings, real beauty, today, I love it you see…

Revelation 21:18-24 18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it.
