I have heard the story so many times and have seen so many people crash and burn. They get sold some internet hype and then buy into some program and spend thousands of dollars. If anyone is getting started with their quest to become the next internet millionaire please beware. Every site you click on is asking for money out of your pocket. Every click of the mouse offers you some easy trip to that new condo on the beach. Every click has another success story that made some guru millions of dollars. Beware.

Unless you have unlimited reserves of cash, then choose wisely. You need to spend much more time than money when plotting your cyber course. As you wander in and out of websites you must notice three things common to all the gurus.

1) They are all rich.

2) They all want your money.

3) They all have websites.

Okay, so they are rich. I can understand that. I can also accept the fact that they are there to extract my money. The one thing, which is quite basic is that they all have a website. This may seem elementary but you must stop and acknowledge the fact that they have an up and running website. Just the fact of having a site opens up an entire can of needed knowledge.

Have you thought about how many pages you need for your site? Do you have to know HTML for the site you sign on with? Are you able to work with the basic needs of setting up a site? Do you have to hire someone to set up the site for you? Will there be fees involved to make changes after the site is published? Will you run the site yourself? The list is is very short but the point is the list could be endless.

The crux of this article is the choice of how you are going to handle the creation of YOUR website. This is a question that needs to discerned individually. All answers are based solely on the personalized needs and abilities of the individual or organization formulating the idea of the internet business. The source of the website will be, in large part, based on the capital available. You must not only decide on where to purchase your internet website access but also your pain threshold for the cost to maintain the operation of the site.

After you have determined your ability to create a website and where to get one, you will then and only then be ready to decide where you want to spend your remaining funds on continuing education so you will be able to extract the money from other people's pockets, so you too can be wealthy.
