People trace its roots to the perspiration of the body. This may be true to a certain extent but by nature, the perspiration of one person is basically odorless. The things that produce the unwanted odors are the bacteria and the other odor coming from other sources.

Now it is important that it is managed well at the beginning. One good way to control it on a person's body is thru the adoption of a wellness program. For example a lifestyle change will do the trick. Lifestyle change should include daily bathing, a change in clothing and dietary changes as well. Others may overlook clothing but the type of clothing that can be used can also allow for the body to breath and in the process prevent the body from perspiring. Tight fitting clothes allow for the body to perspire more while the more loose ones help the body breathe more, so perspiration is more limited and controlled. The type of fabric also does the trick, and it is recommended to use natural fabrics.

Diet also has a hand in producing some odors on one's body. There are certain kinds of food items that help create these odors and the list include some meat, onions, garlic, spices and other drinks. In order to control the amount of odor, it is important as well that some of these food items should be taken off the diet once in a while. As mentioned, sweating is often mentioned as the main cause, so in order to address the issue it is important that sweating should be checked by a medical professional.

Body odors can also be addressed by taking supplements. Some well-known supplements that can help includes chlorophyll, magnesium, vitamins and zinc. Persons with body odors can try taking these supplements in order to help them address the problem. Folk remedies are also available right now and persons with body odors can select what suit them the best. Some of these folk remedies include the use of herbs like sage, rosemary and radishes.

There is also another way on how to manage and to address the problem and this is called the homeopathic. Homeopaths will usually recommend dissolving three pieces 6X tablets of tissue salt Silicea under the person's tongue every morning and evening.

This way the odors can be addressed. If the underarm odor is already too much to handle, try using a mild solution of hydrogen peroxide- around 3 percent- and this can be bought at the nearest local pharmacy. A teaspoon of the solution can be added to a glass of water and this can be used to wash the underarm. The amount of peroxide and be increased if the odor is still there.
