4 Wrinkle Reduction Tips for Using a Wrinkle Mask
You have to be careful when you buy an anti wrinkle mask. These 4 wrinkle reduction tips help you avoid harsh ingredients that can do long term damage to your skin's overall health and appearance. Â
Treat your skin gently and your appearance will improve. Give it enough moisture and firmness will increase. Feed it the right nutrients and wrinkles will start to fade. If you use a wrinkle mask, make sure that it contains ingredients that meet these requirements; moist, gentle, nourishing.
Below you will find several of my favorite anti-aging skincare tips. Sometimes, the advice is a little different from what you will see elsewhere, but it is based on sound scientific research.
Wrinkle Reduction Tip #1-Use Caution in the Sun
We need a certain amount of exposure to the sun, in order to process vitamin D, but not more than about 15 minutes, three times per week. For additional time in the sun, wear sunglasses, a hat and protective clothing. On exposed areas, use a zinc oxide sun-block. Other sun-screening compounds are largely ineffective. Some of them, like oxybenzone, increase free radical activity, creating damage that may become a wrinkle or a cancerous growth.

Wrinkle Reduction Tip #2-Chemical Peels are Not Good for You
The typical wrinkle mask contains chemicals designed to "peel" away some surface skin cells. They use ingredients like urea, waste products created by animals and plants. It is the primary component of urine. While not particularly hazardous, it's not particularly pleasant either. If you wouldn't eat it, don't put it on your skin.
Wrinkle Reduction Tip #3-Antioxidants like Vitamin E
All of the signs of aging are caused by free radical damage. Free radicals perform some necessary functions within the cellular membrane. They attack bacteria, for example. But, if there are too many radicals or they get out of control, they damage the cellular membrane, collagen and DNA strands. They cause chronic inflammation that leads to redness, sagging and bags under the eyes.
The best wrinkle mask is one that contains lots of antioxidants like vitamin E and coenzyme Q10, moisturizers like avocado and macadamia oils, natural anti-inflammatories that reduce redness and bags and a special ingredient called Functional Keratin. Keratin is a protein responsible for the skin's strength. Functional Keratin is a patented product with proven clinical effectiveness. It has more antioxidant activity than other nutrients. It moisturizes, increases production of new skin cells and fades wrinkles.
Wrinkle Reduction Tip #4-Moisturize some More
Every day, use an active moisturizing day cream that contains ingredients like grape seed oil. Every night, use a nourishing night cream that supports the skin's natural rejuvenation processes, with ingredients like Functional Keratin, Manuka honey and Shea Butter.
Eat right, get plenty of rest and drink plenty of pure water. Those are the keys to better health and aging gracefully. Occasionally a moisturizing wrinkle mask is an added "bonus", but skincare is a daily ritual. Treat your skin well and you'll see the difference in the mirror.
