Double Agents?
The movie, The Traitor has some deep philosophical as well as spiritual implications that drive the actors to go along with a lot of ACTION! The life of an undercover agent or a double agents has to be one of the most difficult life's to lead. And that's exactly the kind of life too many of us are leading: that of double agents.
On the one hand, we live life for SELF and to hell with anyone else.
Hurricane Ike has given us a good reminder of such people. The cost to take down a tree, depending upon size, may run from $300-$500. But people who don't know that have fallen prey to those who are only looking out for SELF by paying as much as $2,500 for a tree. It's happening. And the cost to
reconstruct all those fences (labor only) that you see laying around the neighborhood should run $20 a linear foot, but some people are paying $50.
Then there's the other agent(s) who take people in that don't have power, give them meals, wash their clothes, allow them to spend the night, help pick up the neighbor's yard, and otherwise GIVE of themselves. Which AGENT are you? The real answer is BOTH. At differing times we ALL act based upon our perception of the dangers and costs we might have to incur.
The REALITY though is that we have NO NATURE!
Chew on that one for awhile.
We are simply vessels, containers, the branches, the temple, and such metaphors who either demonstrate the nature of God, the divine nature, the nature within. All of the Biblical symbols of our humanity are those of being a CONTAINER, and of expressing the Creator. We either allow Him, the Spirit, Consciousness, the I AM to be demonstrated, or NOT!
We are ALL spirit beings. Some are more pure AGENTS than others. Some let the love flow, the mercy abound, the grace unfold, and are the "true ambassadors" of the ONE POWER. Others refuse the flow (Spirit). It's not about who is GOOD and who is BAD: but, who is an open valve and who's a stopped up well. Don't give credit where credit is not due: Satan already gets too much blame, where we're the ones who've simply shut off the LOVE VALVE (which is God).
