Doing it cheaply is the motto of any person who has started a business. At least until they get off the ground and start sitting more firmly in the black. Often times, it's do it yourself or it doesn't get done. SEO or Search Engine Optimization may just be one of those things you end up doing on your own and doing cheaply. Initial SEO tactics and SEO strategies don't require start up money and can provide your business with some major benefits.

SEO strategies and SEO tactics need to be an initial consideration. Decide if you are going to use a SEO tactic or SEO strategy prior to purchasing your website domain name. This is important since SEO should be a consideration when picking out the domain name for your site.

Once you have determined your website domain name, it is time to carefully consider the name for each page of your site. To best make use of SEO, each page title should contain keywords. Keyword titles let the spiders know that your page is relevant.

Another consideration when working with a SEO strategy or part of your SEO tactics are your Meta tags. Clearly defined site maps are essential to SEO tactics and SEO strategy because they generate back links. Back links are essential to SEO success.

Once you have set up a set of web pages that are easily navigated and created the back links for your SEO strategy, it's time to take a look at adding content to your newly SEO ready site. Make sure the content on your website is loaded with the possible keywords that a visitor might search for. At the same time, you need to make sure that the content makes sense and is something that the visitor is going to want to read. Another important thing to remember with content and SEO strategy or SEO tactics is to make sure to update regularly. Regularly updated sites attract more attention and that, in turn, attracts more visitors.

Finally, avoid things like flash introductions or frames on the sites you want to use with your SEO strategy and SEO tactics. These types of add-ons usually create significant difficulties for the spiders. If the spiders can not analyze your page, using SEO for that page is not effective.
