Each individual digital camera will have a specific memory card format. Right now, the most commonly used is the Compact Flash format. This format will hold up to 2 giga-bytes of memory. That is a lot of memory.
When it comes right down to it, the size of the card that you will need, depends on the camera you purchase and the type of camera enthusiast that you are.
