Tomorrow Is Another Day

Ok, so you have seen "Gone With The Wind" too many times. But have you really paid attention to Scarlett O'Hara's most important lines?

As I have written elsewhere, every time Scarlett was in trouble she said: "I won't (or I can't) think of this today. I will think about this tomorrow."

This is by no means an insignificant line. On the contrary, it is one of the best ones, because it is so full of inspiration. Imagine if all of us decided that whenever we have a troublesome thought or are in a difficult situation we simply decided to act like Scarlett. We will think about it tomorrow.

What a concept! Not thinking about whatever it is that is bothering us today is the best way to remove those negative thoughts from our mind. And we know very well: "out of sight out of mind," except that according to what we believe, we should say "out of mind, out of life" for we know that whichever we focus upon manifests to us. That's the the Law of Attraction in action.

But Scarlett O'Hara has another great line. At the end of the film, when she decides to go back home to Tara and from there find a way to win Rhett back, she says: "After all, tomorrow is another day!"

There is this great concept again: Tomorrow! "Tomorrow is another day!"

Tomorrow is the promise of a clean slate. Tomorrow is a new notebook, with its pages absolutely clean and empty, ready for us to write our great story, filled with success, abundance, love, health, and joy.

Tomorrow is next year's calendar where all the months of the new year are still intact, new, filled with hope, faith, enthusiasm, and excitement.

Tomorrow is the piano, sitting there open, waiting for us to play the most magnificent music we can ever dream of playing. A melody that will fill our senses and put us in another world, where there is no pain and no suffering; only life that is good and pure and beautiful. Tomorrow is the promise of the sun and the moon, the birds and the bees, the creatures great and small, the gems and rocks, the flowers and the dew, the rivers, the mountains, and the stars.

Tomorrow we gather up our soul and start our life afresh and face our day as if we are taking the first step on a thousand mile trip; we have the courage to move forward and know that we are invincible and brave and determined and inspired and receptive to the bounty of the world.

No matter what happened to us today, tomorrow we wake up and ask ourselves: What is the great life adventure am I having today? And we go forth, knowing that there is nothing we cannot do, be, or have.

"Tomorrow is another day!"
