The Cause(s) of Rains in the Bible:

The Lord sends the rain. He draws up the drops of water, which distill as rain to the streams. He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him. The Lord makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth and brings out the wind from his storehouses. The Lord turned their rain into hail with lightning.

I will call upon the Lord to send thunder and rain to realize what an evil thing you did in the eyes of the Lord when you asked for a king,

People will not have rain if they do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the Lord or if they sin; however, the Lord sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous

You can make it rain if you say: "It's going to rain".

A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping on a rainy day.

Also, the Bible asks: Does the rain have a father?

The Lord sends the rain:

Zechariah 10:1

[The LORD Will Care for Judah] Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who makes the storm clouds. He gives showers of rain to men, and plants of the field to everyone.

Job 36:27

"He draws up the drops of water, which distill as rain to the streams ;

Job 37:6

He says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth,' and to the rain shower, 'Be a mighty downpour.'

Ecclesiastes 11:3

If clouds are full of water, they pour rain upon the earth. Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where it falls, there will it lie.

Psalm 84:6

As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.

Ecclesiastes 12:2

before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds return after the rain;

Song of Solomon 2:11

See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone.

Ezekiel 1:28

Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

Hosea 6:3

Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth."

The Lord makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

Psalm 135:7

He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

Matthew 7:25

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

Jeremiah 10:13

When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

Jeremiah 51:16

When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

Proverbs 25:14

Like clouds and wind without rain is a man who boasts of gifts he does not give.

Also, You can make it rain if you (see a cloud and) say: "It's going to rain".

Luke 12:54

[Interpreting the Times] He said to the crowd: "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, 'It's going to rain,' and it does.

When the People will not have Rains?

People will not have rain if they do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the Lord.

If the Egyptians do not go up and take part

When the people sin

Zechariah 14:17

If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain.

Zechariah 14:18

If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

1 Kings 8:35

"When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because your people have sinned against you, and when they pray toward this place and confess your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them,

2 Chronicles 6:26

"When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because your people have sinned against you, and when they pray toward this place and confess your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them,

The rain on the wicked will be fiery coals

This prophecy never happened.

Psalm 11:6

On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot.

However, the Lord sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Matthew 5:45

that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

The Lord made darkness his covering, his canopy around him

It is an evil thing you did in the eyes of the Lord when you asked for a king,

1 Samuel 12:17

Is it not wheat harvest now? I will call upon the LORD to send thunder and rain. And you will realize what an evil thing you did in the eyes of the LORD when you asked for a king."

However, When a king's face brightens, it means life

Proverbs 16:15

When a king's face brightens, it means life; his favor is like a rain cloud in spring.

The quarrelsome wife

Proverbs 27:15

A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping on a rainy day;

Some Biblical Questions about the Rains:

Job 38:28

Does the rain have a father? Who fathers the drops of dew?

Job 38:25

Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm,

Jeremiah 14:22

Do any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Do the skies themselves send down showers? No, it is you, O LORD our God. Therefore our hope is in you, for you are the one who does all this.

The Cause(s) of Rains in the Quran:

Allah sends down water from the cloud

There is a predetermined measure for the Rains

Surah 13:17

"He sends down water from the cloud, then watercourses flow (with water) according to their measure, and the torrent bears along the swelling foam, and from what they melt in the fire for the sake of making ornaments or apparatus arises a scum like it; thus does Allah compare truth and falsehood; then as for the scum, it passes away as a worthless thing; and as for that which profits the people, it tarries in the earth; thus does allah set forth parables"

Surah 16:10

it is He who sends down water from the cloud for you; it gives drink, and by it (grow) the trees upon which you pasture

Surah 39:21

do you not see that allah sends down water from the cloud, then makes it go along in the earth in springs, then brings forth therewith herbage of various colors, then it withers so that you see it becoming yellow, then he makes it a thing crushed and broken into pieces? most surely there is a reminder in this for the men of understanding

Surah 43:11

and he who sends down water from the cloud according to a measure, then we raise to life thereby a dead country, even thus shall you be brought forth;

Surah 50:9

and we send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then we cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped,

Surah 30:24

and one of his signs is that he shows you the lightning for fear and for hope, and sends down water from the clouds then gives life therewith to the earth after its death; most surely there are signs in this for a people who understand

Surah 23:18

and we send down water from the cloud according to a measure, then we cause it to settle in the earth, and most surely we are able to carry it away

The water of the Rain is Pure:

Surah 25:48

and he it is who sends the winds as good news before his mercy; and we send down pure water from the cloud,

The winds fertilize the clouds.

Surah 15:22

and we send the winds fertilizing, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. it is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof.

The Quran says that Allah sends the winds fertilizing, and cause water to descend from the sky. This scientific fact was only proved after revelation of the Quran by more than 1300 years. Clouds are positively or negatively charged. The Winds make the positively or negatively charged clouds meet with the consequent result of Rains' formation.

Before asking my routine question, it may be interesting to mention that the Arabs at the time of revelation of the Quran wished to have rain if the Quran is true and Islam is the religion.

The Ignorant Arabs wished to have Rain:

Surah 8:32

and when they said: o Allah! if this is the truth from thee, then rain upon us stones from heaven or inflict on us a painful punishment

Of course, it would be better if they said: "Show us the way to follow the Truth instead of saying: "rain down on us a shower of stones form the sky, or send us a grievous penalty".

This reminds me with the intellectual scholars who claim that the Quran is stolen from the Bible.

Back to the main issue of my series of articles (1-35); this is my question to you smart readers: "Is the Quran quoted from the Bible and which book preceded the sciences"?
