Fat Cat Auto Industry Ceos Ride Priave Jets While They Beg for Taxpayer Dollars

So, the auto industry is desperate for money. GM, General Motors, Ford, they are all crying for money with their hands out. But all the Auto Industry CEOs make over 10 million dollars a year, in addition to special perks.  The stories in the press have been scathing. And the American taxpayer is getting angrier and angrier-- and rightfully so!

Ford fired over 50,000 workers in order to save cash-- but they won't give up their luxury travel. Here's the numbers:

8 private jets, 1 trip a week = 160k. That is 8.32 million a year. There are three companies with these jets, that is 25 million a year. That does not even include the fee's for the airport when the jets are not in use.

The jets are worth 36 million each. If sold, that would be 864 million dollars.

Those jets, and a year of service are worth 22,225 employee's making 40k a year.

That does not even include the CEO's paycheck. Where is the common sense?

This is an absolute fleecing of America and the American taxpayer. Toyota, Honda, and all the other foreign auto manufactuerers are doing better than the American automakers. The US auto industry just can't get their own house in order. May it's time they learned a lesson.

So American jobs are all on the chopping block, but private jets for executives are non-negotiable (according to the auto makers). In my opinion-- they deserve to lose their shirts. They are already morally bankrupt-- they deserve to go financially bankrupt.
