Why don't people sign up for a free audio/CD? I don't know the answer, but I do know what they are missing
It just amazes me out of all the people who visit my blog, so few click on the graphic link of the CD in the upper right hand corner of the page, and so few take the opportunity to listen to this wonderful woman's insights and advice. The Million Dollar Desire audio communicates some ideas and principles that can make just about anyone's life better. Because this audio gave me some important insights, I wanted to share some of them with you and encourage you to give the audio a listen.
Millionaire Lisa Diane says that "Success is an inside job." You know, most of the problems and challenges we face are not out there somewhere. They are really inside of us. Take time management (please!). Maybe you, like me, have searched the internet for the perfect PIM (personal information manager). You keep searching for that magic tool that will allow you organize your life, keep all your plates spinning and everybody in your life happy. But the fact is, that's going to be an inside job, and though a tool may help us and motivate us to manage our time, it's not going to do it for us.
Maybe you search the Internet to see what you might be able to use to get yourself out of bed, or to give you the answer to a burning personal question, or to bring in income that will significantly improve your lifestyle. What I forget in my searching, and what I ask you to consider, is that you will not recognize the right opportunity for you, until you know, internally, what it is that you want. More than "want." You're looking for what makes you tick. You're looking for something that excites you, something that motivates you to do the things that you need to do on a daily basis to achieve success.
That is what Lisa Diane calls the Million Dollar Desire. What is your passion? What are the things that give you great joy and excitement in your life? If you're like me, maybe you have no idea. Maybe you've closed yourself off so much to your feelings, that it all feels the same, and you don't know when you feel good or bad. You just feel. . .flat.
So how do you find out what your passion is? How do you find your million dollar desire? In this audio, Lisa Diane goes through a process that I've had a couple of people try now, and they really were impressed with what they learned about themselves. Write down 25 things that you want to have, do, or be. There are no limitations, no consequences. In fact, you can write down things that are physically impossible; superpowers even, as long as it's something you really want. (If you go beyond the realm of the physically possible, you'll want to do this list again with physically possible items, after you complete the steps in the next paragraph with your first list.)
Then for each of those things ask the question why and, when you have an answer, ask the question why again. and again, until another facet to your purpose, your passion, your million dollar desire becomes evident to you. You'll recognize it because your heart will leap, or there'll be a catch in your throat, or your eyes will begin to tear. (An interesting variation you may want to try is to have someone you trust asking you why, and not letting you off the hook until your answer seems "honest.")
Once you discover your million dollar desire, then search. The information that you find on the Internet and in talking to different people will help you realize a success that is based on your million dollar desire. A success that you can maintain without becoming a robot.
I have a confession to make. Although I've known about Lisa Diane since April of this year, and have listened to the Million Dollar Desire audio maybe ten times, I haven't completely finished this particular exercise myself. But, even though I'm still in the middle of it (item 7 on my list, in fact), I've already been changed. For one, I've discontinued buying everything that comes across my path that I think will make money for me, and only consider those things that have to do with my million dollar desire. Instead of pulling things towards me to fill a void, I feel I'm pushing what I want out there, and letting it find its way back to me.
When you click on the million dollar desire CD on this page, listen to it and do the exercises, You may need to listen to the audio several times, because although the message is easy to understand, and Lisa Diane's delivery is light and entertaining, what she is saying is deep and deceptively simple. These tips and insights have been shared before by others, but for me, Lisa Diane's approach is the one that has pulled it all together and made me finally do something.
