As time goes by the world keeps running out of natural resources. Why because people are not sensitive when it comes to nature. We keep using up resources and also polluting the environment. Because of all this scientists and environmentalist keep trying to find new ways for us to save the world in which we live in. If we do not do it now then who knows what type of world our children and their children will live in.

Cars are one thing on this planet that cause a lot of pollution especially because of the fact that there are so many of them around the world. It is destroying the environment and affecting the air that we breath. Because of this biodiesel has been created as an alternative fuel source.

It is made from the natural oils of organic matter, such as vegetables, seeds and beans. The main benefit that we receive from biodisel is that it is produced from renewable resources that are biodegradable, non-toxic, and naturally free from sulphur. This means that it is 100 percent friendly to the environment, however there are a few disadvantages.

Biodiesel is more expensive to produce than conventional diesel, which is why it is not in wider use. Especially when you consider the current state of the world's economy, right now. One of its main drawbacks is that it starts to solidify at zero degrees centigrade this means that it cannot be used in countries with cold climates.

Its properties are similar to those of normal diesel, so it can be used in existing diesel engines with modifications, and can replace it in most applications. Unfortunately it is not recommend for you to use pure biodiesel without any modifications to the standard engine, and using those fuels will invalidate any warranty.
