Why do we need mental clarity? It's simply because everything we do is the process of the mind. A clear mind allows us to become productive and efficient in whatever we are doing. Most importantly, it also promotes a better and happier way of looking at life when we are able to see the beauty of the world. Yes, this clarity is even working when we are faced with the many challenges that try to throw us out of balance every day.
Imagine not getting enough good quality sleep for several days. Surely you would feel weak, lazy and groggy the entire time. This only stops when you receive the rest your body needs.
If not, you become even more irritable and unpleasant to just about everyone who comes across your path. Even enjoying the simple things in life gets close to impossible. Not to mention the disturbing nausea you will undoubtedly feel and the seemingly dark spots that involuntarily pop all over your vision...
I'm sure at one point or another you experienced all of these. You may even have been far worse than described above.
The worst thing that could happen is you find yourself being drawn to even poorer mental state for the rest of your life. You end up neglecting your health.
