The Meaning of Being a Woman Continued...

Today I was sitting in my new red car and a man started to laugh, applaud and yell things at me.
Hmmmmm, I thought to myself what's with him?
The other day a man came up to me as I was pulling out of a parking lot and he said it was cars and women like me that made him get alot of speeding tickets?!
Hmmmmm, I didn't quite get that one either.
What has become apparent is the car obviously makes the woman!
My new car is a sign of the changes in my life. Sometimes I just want to jump in and travel down the road and never look back. You know the wind in your hair and your favorite song blaring as you try to sing along. I've had to watch it lately because of the pedal to the metal groove!!
"You don't love someone for their looks, or their clothes or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear."
Anyways does a sporty car give men the idea that you're a swinger, loose and fancy free?
I mean have you ever noticed that men look around when they drive but a majority of women will look straight ahead? So I decided to look around and enjoy myself as I drive so that I can see what it is that men see.
Well....hmmm....I was followed, honked at or yelled at.
I still look around but I make sure I look like I am looking straight ahead. So I have come to the conclusion that women do look around, we just have to do it in a way that requires the ability to do two things at once. Damn those double standards!!
"It's not what I do, but the way I do it. It's not what I say, but the way I say it and how I look when I do it and say it."
Adding to my new car is my new walk. My daughter was laughing at me because she said I walk differently now. Maybe more swing, longer strides and a smile on my face.
There are different layers of confidence that are discovered only after you have lived enough of life. Confidence is the sexiest thing that a woman can wear. I'm wearing mine!

"You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough."
