To Thong or Not to Thong

Okay, you got me. I didn't write the above soliloquy. A guy named William Shakespeare did. I just added the part about the thongs and other lingerie. Thought I'd spice it up a bit.
I wonder what old Willie thought about sexy lingerie? Sometimes I ask myself tough questions. And to tell you truth - usually I don't want to know the answers.
I began writing this article about sexy lingerie of the 16th century, but, it became way too boring. All I could find was ugly old chemises and frocks and petticoats with people way over dressed.
I can't imagine myself living in that time. Not with all the negligees and thongs and garters I own. I wonder when the g-string was invented? There I go asking myself another hard question that I really don't want to know the answer to.
I have this sexy black leather mini dress with a lace up bodice and cut out sides. It shows just enough of my midriff to keep the men on edge. I can't imagine me wearing that if I lived in the 16th century.
Some people believe that they were born too late. That they would have been better suited to living in a different age. Not me. I'm happy living in the 21st century with the great selection of lingerie available.
