There are many ways you can learn phrases in Arabic. The one most people use is to buy a phrase book that gives them the English words they want and their translation into Arabic. While this is a good resource, you only see the words written and you do not have the pronunciation of the word. If the words are written in Arabic, then you have an additional problem because the written form of the Arabic language does not use the same alphabet system as the English language.

In order to learn words and phrases in Arabic, you should take a course in how to read, write and speak the language. You can attend classes for this or take an online course where you can study at your own pace spending as much time on each lesson as you feel you need. Online courses in Arabic will teach you what you need to become fluent in the language. These courses start at the beginning teaching you important words and phrases in order for you to start communicating in the language.

There are many sites online where you can see a phrase written in both English and Arabic so that you can learn its meaning. The sites you should look for if this is what you want are those that also let you hear the phrases being spoken by a native Arabic speaker.  The online courses will teach you standard Arabic, which may sound rather formal to native speakers, but you will gain enough knowledge to be able to be understood. You may have some difficulty understanding some speakers of a specific dialect, but once you have the foundation in the language, you will quickly learn to adapt the dialect.

Although it looks like a complicated language to learn, learning Arabic is no more difficult than learning any new language. You start off by learning the alphabet and the system of writing, which may seem backwards to you. When you master simple words and phrases, you will gain a sense of the language and you will be surprised at how quickly you master them.
